The cheese dip is an awesome app! The tacos de carne asada is my go to! Kids love the food too.

Do not waste your time, eat somewhere else. Pros: very few deep fried items on menu, bland enough for nursing home folk, and easy to get a table. Cons: food was cold, customer service was terrible, and sadly the most unauthentic Mexican restaurant in North America. My experience: I ordered a pork dish that the menu stated that the pork was marinated with "Mexican seasonings". The dish arrived later colder than my salsa appearing as if it had been microwaved from frozen before serving (pork had white crusty marks- a telltale marks of fast defrosted meat was left in the freezer) and NO FLAVOR "Mexican marinated"). I rarely if ever complain, but the meat was nasty nasty. When I mentioned it to our server (who is a co-owner), she said "You show me in the menu where it said marinated". wtf? As a customer, to be asked to prove my dissatisfaction over the meal, I was shocked. She eventually (20 minutes later) brought me back a serving of chicken fajita mix which was quite good however she CHARGED me for the higher cost of the fajita meal. I paid for the meal but vowed to never go back.

My family frequently gets dinner here, and we are never disappointed. The service is friendly and the food is great. We enjoy the classics like the enchilada, the chimichangas, and the tamales, and the lunch and dinner combination plates let you enjoy a little bit of everything. The platillos are also great--I love the fresh, simple, authentic favors or the taco de carne asada, and one of my favorite dishes is the tacos al carbon. The fajitas are awesome--the chicken is so juicy and tender and full of flavor. Perfect with horchata. With the good service and friendly atmosphere, this is a good place to grab a bite in New Ricmond.

Well. The food was warm. The waitress was kind but lacked any knowledge of the menu. ZERO FLAVOR in all of our food. Burger was crap like the school food. Again no flavor in anything. Go to Walmart on sample day it's more satisfying.

My wife and I went to Garibaldi's for the third and final time this past Saturday. After arriving at 6:05, we finally had silverware on our table for everyone around 7:05. Our food order was taken at 6:45, a full 40 minutes from when we arrived. Water was brought to the table at 6:40, 35 minutes after we arrived. Our food made it to the table at 7:20, after being there for an hour and 15 minutes and mine was cold. I have no clue how this place stays in business considering the service. The food tastes ok but the service really wrecks it at Garibaldi's.

My wife and I had dinner her on Friday, April 13, 2012. The food looked good, and seemed to be good quality. But it was BLAND. I mean, ketchup bland. Absolutely zero kick. As part of my combo plate, I had a chicken taco. There was plenty of chicken in the taco - no complaint there - but it was as tasteless as tofu.

There isn't much else to say that hasn't already been said. The food just won't wow you and the service isn't good enough to make a positive difference. I would recommend that you spend your hard earned time and money somewhere else.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
